To empower women and children by providing easy access to a comprehensive online directory of specialist services, promoting awareness about available support, and building a collaborative network of organisations dedicated to their wellbeing.
While the name “endingvawg.org” may suggest a focus solely on domestic abuse and violence, this directory takes a more holistic approach to promoting the health, wellbeing, and safety of women and children. We recognise that ending violence against women and girls is not just about addressing physical violence, but also about ensuring that women have access to the expert support they need in all areas of their lives.
That’s why we are calling for listings from a wide range of specialist services, from maternal health and mental health, to literacy, financial, and legal support. By providing a comprehensive resource for women to find the help they need, we aim to promote their overall wellbeing and empower them to build safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
